The Role
Waterworks is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cabinetry Sales Leader to drive the growth and success of our ultra-luxury cabinetry line. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence through both direct sales in the NYC area and strategic leadership of our Cabinetry Sales Consultants in key markets.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in kitchen and cabinetry design, paired with a passion for sales leadership and delivering exceptional client experiences. You will play a critical role in positioning Waterworks as the premier authority in high-end cabinetry, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Lead and grow cabinetry sales across the organization, with a focus on the NYC market.
Mentor and manage a team of Cabinetry Sales Consultants in strategic locations.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring Waterworks is recognized as the leader in ultra-luxury cabinetry.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 4–5 cabinetry sales professionals across the East and West Coasts, each managing their own book of business.
- Establish and uphold best practices in luxury sales, client engagement, and project execution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Waterworks cabinetry, offering strategic guidance, technical expertise, and training.
- Collaborate with showroom leadership to align on business goals, client strategies, and training initiatives.
- Model Waterworks values and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and product knowledge.
- Monitor team performance and sales metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with design, operations, logistics, and project management to ensure seamless project delivery.
Sales & Project Execution Responsibilities
- Drive local market sales with a focus on multi-room and multi-category opportunities in collaboration with showroom consultants.
- Manage and grow a personal portfolio of ultra-premium cabinetry clients, consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Cultivate relationships with the design community to position Waterworks as the leader in luxury cabinetry.
- Mentor showroom consultants on cabinetry offerings, design processes, and sales strategies.
- Oversee projects from sale through installation, including on-site presence for measurements, delivery, and installation.
- Create cabinetry designs using 20/20 and/or AutoCAD based on approved quotes.
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing, including specifications, installation requirements, and compliance.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve client issues and deliver exceptional service.
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor insights to guide client decisions.
- Leverage showroom tools to deliver personalized, informed solutions.
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality project execution.

Qualifications
- Proven success in luxury cabinetry sales with a strong personal book of business and consistent revenue growth.
- 5–7+ years in high-end interior or kitchen design, with deep knowledge of custom cabinetry.
- Demonstrated leadership of remote sales teams across multiple regions.
- Proficiency in 20/20 and/or AutoCAD with the ability to produce client-ready designs.
- Strong project management skills across complex, multi-phase installations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and consultative sales skills tailored to ultra-luxury clientele.
- Ability to build strong relationships with architects, designers, and contractors.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating design concepts, timelines, and specifications.
- Strategic business acumen with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving brand growth.
- Travel up to 40% for client visits, showroom support, and project supervision.
$115,000 - $140,000 a year
Compensation for this role is base salary plus a generous commission plan. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Waterworks may require physical requirements within its Showroom locations as follows:
Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques. Ability to maneuver effectively around showroom floor, stock room and office. Position could entail periods of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing. Licensed to drive preferred. Ability to travel locally or out of state.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, pull/push, climb and balance, and to be elevated up to 20 feet in the air on harnessed equipment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds with assistance from one other Associate and use of proper technique.
