The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Planning Manager to lead inventory planning, purchasing, and vendor management across key merchandise categories. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

    • Own merchandise planning across sales, inventory, margin, and turn goals
    • Manage cost tracking and pricing analysis for finished goods and components
    • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring on-time delivery and performance through scorecards and regular reviews
    • Collaborate with Product Development, Finance, and Operations on product launches, cost savings, and inventory strategies
    • Lead inventory planning for stocked, special order, and direct-ship items
    • Partner with the Hospitality team on large-scale commercial and residential projects
    • Support SKU rationalization and liquidation strategies
    • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tools
    • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or supply chain
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency
    • Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., JDE, Demantra)
    • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cross-functional projects
    • Experience with both domestic and international sourcing preferred
    • Travel required up to 20%
