Maintenance Technician 1 - Day Shift

We are currently looking for a Full-time Maintenance Technician! We offer a minimum of $19/hour.

The schedule for this position is 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. There is also on-call rotation.

Install, operate, repair and maintain all facility systems relating to mechanical, electrical, electronic and construction.
Diagnose and correct basic mechanical equipment malfunctions.
Perform routine tests and inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems and maintain service and repair records.
Follow the schedule of preventative maintenance as assigned by supervisors.
Act as the first respondent when the fire alarms systems activate.

Experience working as a maintenance mechanic.
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
On-Call rotation with other Plant Ops associates.
Able to uphold Magnetic Values (Multicultural-Accountable-Game Changer- Nurturing- Empowering-Teachable).

Must have a valid Virginia Driver's license and the ability to be insured under the employer's policy.
Must have CFC (Certified Chlorofluorocarbons) or the ability to obtain it within the first year of employment.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
