We currently have an opening for a Full-time Driver/Bus Driver in our Transportation Department.  The Driver/Bus Driver provides safe transportation services for independent living, health center and catered living residents.  The Bus Driver must be a team player with the ability to provide quality and friendly customer service and accomplish daily goals.

Responsibilities

    • Safely transport residents to various locations for appointments, business and pleasure.
    • Respond to all fire, health and other emergencies according to WCBR policies.
    • Perform the “daily checklist” for the bus in use each day; report all service needs to the Senior Bus Driver.

Qualifications

    • Ability to schedule, coordinate, and implement activities with numerous details and multiple deadlines; ability to perform under pressure.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to set a good example, maintain a professional appearance and manner, make a good impression, and work effectively with others; in person, in writing and through oral communications.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, follow detailed procedures, and have good customer service skills.
    • Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
    • Able to uphold Magnetic Values (Multicultural-Accountable-Game Changer- Nurturing- Empowering-Teachable).

Requirements

    • Must have a valid Virginia Driver's license with clean record.
    • 5 years of driving experience.
    • Current CPR and First aid certification.
    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
    • Commercial Driver's License is preferred, but not required.
