Wealthfront is looking for a Lead, SEO & Growth, who will build our strategy and execute a roadmap to optimize our acquisition programs. You will work with a dedicated cross-functional team including design, content, marketing, and engineering to rapidly develop experimentation, optimizations, and new content across our website, blog, and app store pages. This includes utilizing SEO to build new programs and tactics to further grow and optimize our acquisition efforts. Overall, you will focus on driving increased organic traffic, and increasing the engagement and conversion of our paid advertising traffic. You’ll balance tactical execution with informing our Growth team’s overall strategy and approach, working across all of Wealthfront’s offerings. 

The Growth team at Wealthfront holistically measures and improves the flow of clients into and within the product. We drive traffic to Wealthfront, improve the conversion rate of visitors to clients, and drive increased engagement. Our approach is defined by addressing low-hanging fruit opportunities that we have high conviction will deliver results, and testing high-impact hypotheses to drive learnings and growth. In the past the team shipped features and experiments like Drops, sign-up flow optimizations, and new referral programs.


    • 5+ years of Growth, Marketing, or Product Management experience in a consumer software company
    • Direct experience driving customer acquisition, including some or all of the following: Lead Generation, Content Marketing, Landing Page Experimentation, and SEO (including HTML and technical SEO).
    • Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush)
    • Healthy blend of strategic thinking capabilities with an action-oriented mindset
    • Significant A/B testing experience, and competence in SQL


    • Build a strategy to optimize our acquisition programs including the following: lead generation, content marketing, search engine optimization and landing page experimentation.
    • Deliver feature roadmap through sprint cycles, breaking down the product roadmap into executable stories and requirements for engineering stakeholders.
    • Analyze Wealthfront’s SEO and landing page performance, identify opportunities, and experiment with solutions to drive improvements.
    • Support the strategy of funnel optimization including consumer research, product development, and design.
    • Work cross-functionally with both Marketing and core Product teams to take new products and brand campaigns to market to maximize their success.
