And because we use software, we can lower the cost of delivering our services enough to make money with you, not from you. Now, we are focused on increasing brand awareness, reach people who have never heard of Wealthfront, and become a household brand. This is where you come in.
We are looking for an Executive Creative Director, a multi-talented creative leader, to shape and evolve Wealthfront’s brand narrative, and lead a team of creatives to bring our brand to life in imaginative and memorable ways. You will ensure that as a company, our word and deed consistently uphold our brand promise, principles and values, and cement the trust our clients have in us. This is a senior leadership role, one that requires you to develop an exceptional creative team through strong mentorship, management and creative direction; and build a culture of fearless creativity, where brave ideas are encouraged, curiosity about human psychology and behaviors is nurtured and diverse perspectives are embraced. From product launches, marketing campaigns, paid advertising, social and content marketing, and brand experiences, you will have the opportunity to shape our brand voice and visual language, and ensure creative excellence.
In this role, you will work closely with the executive team and senior leaders on the marketing, design and product teams, and will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

You have experience working with cross-functional partners across the company, as well as, a bench of contractors and external agencies to effectively serve business and team needs.

- Experience hiring and leading in-house creative teams in a startup environment
- Experience building brands and campaigns across marketing channels including video (short & long form), social, email, web development, partnerships & influencers, and more
- Agency experience a strong plus, working in a creative-driven environment
- Experience working on well-known consumer brands
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross functional teams (Product marketing managers, data scientists, engineers) and managing leadership
- Open to design and writing backgrounds
