  • DREAM embraces the responsible use of AI to enhance work and learning. Candidates are welcome to use AI to support their applications, however, we've noticed an increase in AI-generated responses that provide little insight into one’s candidacy. We encourage you to ensure your responses communicate your own voice, specific experiences, and unique perspectives.
  • Why do you want to be a Principal at DREAM?
  • A new student has transferred mid-year and is struggling academically and socially. Some teachers report disengagement, and the student has begun skipping school and has low attendance. Two veteran teachers have expressed that they think the student is not being held accountable for taking agency in their own learning and have asked your Assistant Principal of Culture to take the lead on any future interventions for the student. A concerned parent calls asking for support; they share that they don’t know what to do and how to motivate their child to attend school, but they want to do whatever they can to help. What issues and considerations are at stake in this scenario? How would you approach this situation? What values (personal values and DREAM Maxims) would you center in your approach, and how?
  • Please upload a one-to-two-page synopsis that details the results you’re most proud of driving as a leader and the steps you took to achieve those results. One section should focus on evidence of direct impact on student results and one section should focus on evidence of impact on adult, student, or school culture. Please include both data (screenshots, graphs, etc.) and narrative in your submission.
  • Please upload a cover letter here.
