Desired Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications (GPA above a 3.4) 

General Knowledge
Solid understanding of the Internet, copywriting, customer service and Internet technologies
Basic understanding of keyword research and selection (Desired)
Basic understanding of SEO (Desired) 

Experience
Part-time/summer job/internship experience is a must
Blogging experience (Desired)Customer service experience in any industry (Desired)
Any digital marketing experience (a plus)
Experience with Google Analytics (a plus)
Basic HTML experience (a plus)
“Power” Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc account (Ex. Defined as 500+ followers) (A huge bonus)

What You'll Do 

Responsibilities
Working under senior earned media team members and supporting them on some of our largest campaigns and client accounts
Analyzing competitors’ websites and online marketing initiatives
Optimizing client website for search engines (on-page SEO)
Developing SEO content strategy for our copywriting team to create
Optimizing web content for keywords related to customer products and services
Generate ideas and conduct research for infographics, motion graphics, blog posts and other viral content
Managing content creation workflow
Driving client success on the web
Manage and edit an array of content types from blog posts to sales copy to longform content spanning over 800+ industries 

Percentage Breakdown
10% analyzing clients’ competitors
10 % managing content creation workflow
15% online asset research and topic discovery
15 % creating SEO opportunity reports for client campaigns
20 % client strategy and analytics
30 % building/developing content strategy

Note: The Jr. Content Strategist - Creative Track is not a client-facing position. This position is a fully remote, telecommute position on a Full-Time Contract basis.  

Training
Our “Bootcamp” web marketing training program will be provided for new WebFX “family members.” On-site, state-of-the-art training amenities to facilitate departmental trainings, trend watch reports, and monthly Lunch-and-Learns

Compensation: 
- Hourly Rates from $16 to $18. An annual income equivalent to $31k to $37k (potentially higher based on work experience)
- $1k potential in bonuses annually
- $180 monthly stipend: Extra cash for whatever you deem necessary to improve your remote work life! Other writers and editors have used this bonus to cover their various expenses such as Internet, health care expenses, contributions to their rent, luxuries for their home office, and much more. This bonus is provided as a thank you for your ongoing contributions and loyalty to WebFX.
