The Multimedia Squad Group Leader (Director) is responsible for developing and delivering innovative multimedia services to Welocalize customers.  The Squad Group leader’s main objective is to lead an agile structured multimedia practice. As the Squad Group Leader, you will influence the strategy for multimedia services and assign Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to Squad Leads; govern squad performance and proactively identify actions to improve. Embracing the Welocalize Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation and Global Teamwork the Multimedia Squad Group lead will ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards possible.


The following is a list of the main accountabilities and responsibilities of the Multimedia Squad Group Leader:
- Responsible for the technical delivery of multimedia services to our customers
- Build and lead a growing global Multimedia team by setting strategic goals, clear roles, and responsibilities
- Develop our Multimedia services leveraging industry-leading AI technologies to meet defined growth targets
- Achieve assigned Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), achieving or exceeding the financial performance of the Multimedia Squad Group
- Monitor financial and operational metrics (KPIs) supporting Multimedia Squad Leads on implementation and execution of production process improvements resulting in increased ROI
- Adopt, implement, and govern Agile processes and practices
- Responsible for owning and auditing a global process to ensure standardization across all global Multimedia Squad groups
- Partner with the Sales Team in developing new business opportunities; provide RFP response support, pricing, staffing assignments and any other service delivery obligations required to nurture and win new business opportunities
- Utilize business intelligence and assist Multimedia Squad Leads in measuring and reporting OKR progress on a weekly basis

- Proven track record of creating and leading a high growth professional multimedia team
- Extensive delivery experience required demonstrating an expert understanding of all aspects of the multimedia localization process
- Curiosity and creativity to question existing processes and approaches and innovate new ones
- Demonstrable experience in using AI technology to streamline workflows and scale a multimedia service is desirable
- Proven ability in developing external partner networks and relationships
- Experience in financial and operational management
- Ability to travel for work commitments is required
