We are looking for Linguistic reviewers for Simplified Chinese Language with outstanding writing skills, efficiency and creativity to help in a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) project.
The ideal candidate should have linguistic competency in Simplified Chinese and should be based in China.
Linguistic reviewers will examine niche search terms and test cases for those queries, determining usefulness, accuracy, and relevancy for results and related queries.
Work will be broken down into periods of approximately 10 Business days, with brief periods of client QA and feedback. Up to 15 total periods expected for this total round of work. Minimum of 2 hours per day expected from a reviewer.
Required Skills
- Outstanding knowledge of the linguistics of the target language, including semantics, syntax, grammar, orthography, lexicography, writing system(s).
- 3-5 years of experience working in a linguistic field (language services, copywriting, translation, language instruction, journalism, editing).
- Strong knowledge of the cultural and business norms common in the target locale.
- Excellent written/verbal communication in English, ability to follow written testing instructions in English.
- Experience with MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with AI data is preferable.
- Energy and a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Superior attention to detail as it relates to grammar, spelling, and non-standard linguistic patterns.
- Experience with file-sharing environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive and deadline-driven work environment.
- Troubleshoot problems; be able to communicate effectively and escalate testing issues.
- Valid authorization to work in the Country of residence.
