The position is responsible for HR and G&A related matters for Japan entity.  The major areas of focus for this role are as follows:

* Give guidance to the local GM and leadership team regarding general HR matter/labor issues

* Interface with the local employees /Respond to the questions and requests from them

* Respond to the questions and requests from Regional headquarters or EU

* Administration of Employee Survey and Action Plan

* Workday operation

* The local announcement of the company policies

* Communication with Finance regarding payroll updates

* Mange visa extension working with visa specialist

* Issue the various employer certificate in response to the request from the local employees

*Management of Health management initiatives:
 - Chairman of health committee
 - Communicating/reporting to an industrial doctor
 - Administration of health check and stress check

* General Affairs:
 -Office administration in general
 -COVID 19 counter measures
 -interface with outside service vendors (phone, Office Owner, Benefit One, etc.)
 -Filing of various HR/General Affairs related documents
 -Organize onboarding orientation
 -IT support (delivery of pc/equipment, stock management, etc.)
 -Management of retirement fund
 -Other miscellaneous tasks(postal mail delivery, equipment/stationary management, etc.)

* Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-10 years HR/General Affairs experience
    • Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or training
    • Experience at the foreign companies based in Japan preferable
    • Local Labor Law Knowledge preferable
    • Workday experience preferable
    • Work from Office :2 days a week /Work from home: 3 days a week
    • Flexible in work style
    • Be able to work independently with limited guidance or supervision

Standard office hours:
40 per week, Mon - Fri, 8 hours a day. Generally 9am - 6pm. Provide Flexible hours if needed.
