ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly accurate and detail-oriented German Transcription Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will listen to audio recordings and transcribe spoken content into written text, ensuring correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Your work will contribute directly to AI and machine learning models, content accessibility, and multilingual language services. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong language skills and a passion for linguistic accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Transcribe audio files into accurate, clean, and properly formatted written text.
- Ensure all transcriptions follow project-specific style guides and language conventions.
- Review and correct transcription output for consistency and clarity.
- Identify and tag non-verbal elements (e.g., background noise, pauses, speaker turns) as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security standards.
- Meet weekly productivity and quality benchmarks.

REQUIREMENTS

- Native or near-native fluency in German, with excellent listening and writing skills.
- Prior transcription experience is preferred (manual or using transcription tools).
- High attention to detail and ability to catch linguistic or formatting inconsistencies.
- Strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Comfortable working independently on repetitive tasks.
- Access to a reliable internet connection, computer, and headphones.
