Role Objectives:
The Senior Project Manager, Clinical Nursing is responsible for the oversight of the setup, implementation, and management of decentralized clinical trial nursing projects, and/or other clinical research projects.

What You'll Do:

    • Oversee the setup, execution, and closeout of both regional and global decentralized clinical trial (DCT) nursing projects, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with organizational and client expectations.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, and proactively tracking out-of-scope services for inclusion in Change Orders.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership, training, and operational oversight for DCT nursing project teams to ensure high performance and consistent delivery.
    • Build and sustain positive, professional relationships with clients by serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
    • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to project quality and delivery; communicate risks to internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and clients as appropriate, ensuring transparency and proactive management.
    • Participate in proposal and bid defense meetings to support business development efforts, and assist in contract discussions with potential clients.
    • Collaborate with management to develop, document, and maintain standardized internal procedures and practices, including SOPs and quality assurance forms, to ensure consistency across programs.
    • Design and deliver project-specific training for clinical trial nurses, and create essential document templates to support project execution.
    • Lead tracking and reporting of project metrics, activities, and expenses, ensuring accurate and timely data to support financial tracking and billing.
    • Escalate serious incidents including adverse events (AEs/SAEs), protocol violations (PVs), or other critical findings to the appropriate clinical or managerial authority; may also act as a line manager responsible for direct report development and performance reviews.

What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor’s degree (health or science field preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4–7 years’ experience in project management, clinical research, or monitoring, or equivalent qualifications.
    • Prior experience with decentralized clinical trials (DCT) strongly preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical trial/project management software.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of clinical research process from Phase I through regulatory submission preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex ideas.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and interact effectively across teams.
    • Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines; willing to travel up to 20%.
