The Drive-by-Wire (DBW) team focuses on the development of electronic and electro-mechanical systems that replace traditional mechanical linkages in vehicle control functions. Our mission is to ensure that vehicles accurately receive and execute driving commands from higher-level systems, enabling safe, reliable, and efficient vehicle operation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop drive-by-wire functions and software with redundancy and diagnosis.
- Perform electrical and software integration and introduction of drive-by-wire systems on new autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Ensure reliable vehicle operation of drive-by-wire actuators in all modes of operation across various vehicle platforms.
- Troubleshoot, triage, and provide diagnostic support for field issues related to the vehicle control system.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
- Proficient in Embedded C, C++ is a must
- Strong understanding of either of the following fields:
- Strong root-cause analysis for problem-solving
- Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities
- Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry
1. Brake/steering/propulsion actuators of electric vehicles
2. CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication protocol
3. Vehicle ECU embedded development
4. CAN tools like CANalyzer/CANoe and capl script
$40 - $45 an hour

Successful candidates must be available to work in the office five days a week.
