Job Summary
 Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Performs routine maintenance and inspections on Pilatus PC12 aircraft and any other aircraft that may be added to operations specifications for Honolulu operations.
    • Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of maintenance work
    • Ensures quality in all aspects of workflow and assumes additional quality assurance responsibilities including regulatory compliance once trained and certified by director of maintenance 
    • Accurate completion of required paperwork and work order details in computer generated work order system
    • Makes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow
    • Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal toolbox (must have own standard tools)
    • Utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work tasks
    • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Job Requirements

    • Minimum four (4) years' experience working with turbo prop aircraft 
    • 2 years’ Pilatus PC-12 experience desirable
    • 2 years’ quality inspection and associated quality assurance duties experience desirable  
    • Advanced troubleshooting abilities
    • Broad knowledge of aircraft systems
    • Read, write, and comprehend the English language 
    • Ability to travel to mainland as required for training
    • Ability to travel to other islands as required for AOG recovery

Education:

    •   Airframe & Powerplant Certifications required
