Full-time
Every day, millions of people rely on WeTransfer to share their creative ideas.

Having made its name in the game of quick and simple file-sharing, WeTransfer has grown into an end-to-end suite of digital solutions with more than 87 million monthly active users in 190 countries. Beyond the WeTransfer.com platform, we have the storytelling platform WePresent, quick slide-making tool Paste, immersive sketching app Paper, and inspiration-capturing tool Collect. We design and deliver delightful experiences that continue to feel obvious and intuitive to millions of people—from our moms to your favorite artists. As a certified B-Corp, WeTransfer aims to be a sustainable and responsible tech company, balancing people, planet, and profit

So, the work we do matters. Come and be a part of it.

We believe that software is gardening. We trust each other to make good decisions and to continuously provide (and accept) constructive feedback. Collaboration is the key to making a great product.

We want to build solutions that are long-lasting. This means writing code that is maintainable instead of quick fixes. Because our products are constantly changing, we believe our tech should be able to adapt. We believe that when code isn't tested it's legacy code and while we understand that it can take a lot of time and brainpower, it's worth it.
The team

You will be joining our Transfer Engineering team, a multidisciplinary team that includes designers and both frontend and backend developers. Our teams are open, eager to try new things, fun and dynamic. The goal of our team is to collaborate with teams across the company to create the future of WeTransfer that stays true to our mantra "beautifully obvious".

Above all else, we value kindness, understanding and empathy. We believe in open and honest communication and good teamwork to achieve a shared vision. We are passionate learners, who aren't afraid of trying out new tools and technologies to build a great end-to-end customer experience. We love to share our knowledge and experience when we can.

We strive to maintain a culture of kindness and inclusivity. Our team represents a variety of cultural backgrounds—open and clear communication is a priority. We believe diversity of perspective and experience are key to building great products. You’ll play a key role in fostering collaboration and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

Why join us?
Aside from the opportunity to be a part of a team that really cares about one another, you will also be working on something that is enjoyed by millions of users every day! You'll have the opportunity to contribute to shaping a new look and feel for WeTransfer. And you'll be a part of a company that wants to set a good example for the rest of the industry.

What we will be looking for :

    • Above all else, we value open and honest communication and good teamwork to achieve a shared vision. Someone who is a passionate learner, loves to share their knowledge and experience, and who loves to use new (or old) tools and technologies to build a great end-to-end experience for our users.
    • Experience with React (preferred) and NodeJS.
    • Even better if you have experience or interest in working with GraphQL and Service Oriented Architecture
    • An understanding of dev-ops practices, with Containerisation and Kubernetes experience a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills (English)
WeTransfer is an equal opportunity employer and we pride ourselves on the diversity of our people. We welcome you, and everything that makes you—well, you. That includes your gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, or disability status.

A note on remote
Our work environment is hybrid-remote, meaning that we support our employees to work remotely and in the office. We encourage employees to decide for themselves and with their team whether or when to go to the office. However, we recommend that you don't come to the office more than 2-3 per week - since that wouldn't be hybrid anymore.

While it is not necessarily a determining or disqualifying factor for any role, you may be required to complete a standard employment background screening.
