We are looking for a Director of Web Experience to take our online presence to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic range of web development and project management experience. 

You will oversee the functionality of the Whoop.com website, evaluate and manage website performance and develop, maintain and update website content.

Along with internal and external teams, you will manage the brand´s online operations, expanding the marketing division. In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to provide our customers with outstanding user experience, drive CRO initiatives and offer solutions to various user journey paths. 

We are seeking a candidate with solid experience in UI/UX, which will help establish the vision and long-term strategy for the website, the blog and associated micro-sites. 

You will be able to see the bigger picture for the future vision of the organization while still being able to get hands on with the execution of tasks to ensure a high quality of work while making sure resources are properly allocated to achieve timely execution of deliverables. 

Responsibilities:

    • Enhancing the company's website to provide both new and existing consumers with a wonderful user experience. 
    • Carrying out daily website operations, sprint planning, and releases. 
    • Development of the web roadmap, ensuring the highest quality. 
    • Management of requests from internal stakeholders and teams.  
    • Project Manage a full redesign of the website.
    • Conducting A/B testing, as well as the roadmap of the websites properties and programs driving growth.  
    • Adhering to the company's brand positioning strategy, optimizing the site navigation to ensure an optimal experience for the users. 
    • Supporting the SEO strategy for the website and blog and making efforts to improve conversion rates. 
    • Enforcing the company's brand and visual identity guidelines across all digital domains in cooperation with the Brand and Creative team. 
    • Tracking and reporting, working on predetermined objectives and use defined KPIs to gauge the success of web performance. 
    • Collaborating with external service providers, agencies and developers. 

Qualifications:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Design, User Experience, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position. 
    • Prior experience managing a team, as well as external agencies.  
    • Experience with web-development (HTML, CSS).  
    • Familiarity with CMS, preferably WordPress. 
    • Previous experience with experimental roadmaps and increasing conversion rates. 
    • Working knowledge of web tracking and attribution. 
    • Proven expertise in UI/UX Design and A/B testing. 
    • Coding skills – knowledge of front-end and back-end SEO practices.  
    • In-depth expertise with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Search Console, as well as exploratory data tools such as Amplitude and conversational platforms (Intercom). 
    • Familiarity with heat mapping software (e.g., Hotjar) and testing software (e.g., Google Optimize).  
    • Experience working as part of a global team.
    • Experience with project management across web projects. 
    • Previous position in a comparable, highly regulated business, such as eCommerce, Consumer Electronics or food and beverage sectors. 
    • Experience managing technical vendors and outsourced providers.
