As a Senior Accountant at WHOOP you’ll work closely with the talented WHOOP Finance team and report directly to the Controller. As a vital member of the team, you’ll be called upon to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly deadlines to present financial information to stakeholders. As a start-up-like tech environment you’ll arrive as WHOOP moves through an exciting stage of growth, for both end users and organizational trajectory. 


    • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Maintain revenue reserve policies, estimates and accruals
    • Create a process to book monthly inventory transactions timely and accurately, including understanding detailed reports from our 3PLs
    • Develop an excess and obsolete inventory policy and apply it consistently
    • Develop a FIFO methodology to account for inventory properly
    • Develop damaged and shrink inventory trends
    • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording inventory data
    • Reconcile the inventory listing and agings
    • Monitor cost of raw materials and diagnose the cause of inventory variances
    • Coordinate physical inventory counts
    • Develop a monthly detailed gross margin analysis 
    • Present consumer revenue, inventory and gross margins at our monthly close meetings
    • Develop strong relationships with our Operations and Supply Chain teams Create and archive monthly journal entries
    • Ad hoc analyses


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • CPA required
    • 5+ years relevant work experience
    • Mastery in Microsoft Excel, proven experience in managing and manipulating extremely large sets of data
    • Experience With Quickbooks, ERP 
    • Solid understanding of revenue and inventory accounting and principles
    • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners 
    • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
    • Willingness to learn
    • Time management and ability to work autonomously
    • Plus: Big Four experience
