The opportunity

WhyLabs is hiring exceptional individuals to join our founding sales development team. In this role, you will be working with a highly differentiated product that customers use to solve the largest remaining unsolved problem in AI/ML. You will help define the prospecting playbook and work closely with your Account Executives to build a robust sales pipeline. You will help play a critical role in managing both inbound and outbound leads. You are highly intelligent, hardworking, driven, passionate and a strategic thinker.

Key Responsibilities

    • Make a stellar first impression for new business prospects.
    • Determine next steps based on learning about the prospect's business challenges and use cases.
    • Set quality meetings with pre-qualified prospects for the Account Executives.
    • Collaborate with your Account Executives and Marketing to develop a robust pipeline.
    • Reach out to leads via phone, LinkedIn, and email prospecting to convey WhyLabs' value proposition.
    • Strategic research based outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
    • Develop a deep comprehension of prospect’s business. Identify a robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities.
    • Systematize and build a playbook of activities to advance WhyLabs’ GTM goals.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Highly intelligent. High EQ. Self-aware, Coachable. Resourceful. Builder mindset.
    • Exceptional communication skills. Fast learner.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
    • Has 1-2 years of business development experience
    • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, Outcome Based Selling, Challenger Sales, Sandler, or Solution Sales).
    • Can articulate business value of complex enterprise technology.
    • Strong Discovery, Prospecting, and Objection Handling skills.
    • Experience working for an innovative high growth tech company is a plus (SaaS, Big Data, APM or similar preferred).
