About This Role
We’re seeking a multi-faceted, motivated Social Media Marketing Coordinator to help accelerate social growth across our portfolio. The ideal candidate is a self-editing copywriter and community manager who can capture multiple, nuanced brand voices – effortlessly swapping between industries. You are a creative thinker with in-depth knowledge of platform functionalities and a finger on the pulse of internet culture. Not only do you live and breathe content, you’re strategic about building an audience, increasing brand loyalty, and fostering a sense of personal connection between consumers and brands.

This is a full-time, remote position (with a preference for Pacific or Mountain time zone).

Role & Responsibilities

    • Bring unique brand voices and values to life on social media. You’ll play an essential role in attracting new users and nurturing our existing follower bases.
    • Monitor, listen to, and engage daily with communities on key platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
    • Grow our follower bases by identifying and actively engaging with influencers, creators, and potential customers. You are an audience advocate when responding to comments and DMs.
    • Raise awareness, drive meaningful engagement, and increase brand affinity by working with our Social Media Manager to develop on-trend content that resonates with the follower bases of each channel. Strong confidence with your creative output is a must.

Minimum Qualifications

    • 3+ years of social media content creation and community management experience. General copywriting experience and customer support exposure considered.
    • A deep understanding and knowledge of social channels, how to write content for each, and what performs best on the different platforms.
    • You can move an audience with words, igniting excitement and driving viewers to take action – and have a track record to prove it.
    • Ability to manage a content calendar and tend to strategically-built communities, to ideate around larger social activations, and pitch innovative content.
    • Strong attention to detail. You can produce compelling copy and visual content for multiple social media platforms concurrently without error.
    • Creative thinking and a spirit of experimentation. You stay on top of industry developments, explore new trends, and are always the first to try out new features.
    • Patience, empathy and a focus on customers. You can handle both positive and negative public-facing communications with poise and professionalism.
    • Basic familiarity with social media metrics and how to align these to brand objectives.
