Since 2016, we have built and invested in 15 companies and expect to launch 3-4 new companies over the next year.

About This Role 
We are looking for a Recruiter to manage the top funnel of the recruitment process. You will be primarily responsible for sourcing and engaging with candidates for various positions, spanning from entry-level to executives, across our portfolio of companies.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator who takes pride in owning the candidate experience, and has proven ability in identifying, pitching, evaluating, and building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is an incredible opportunity to have a high level of visibility while supporting multiple companies within our portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple searches for multiple hiring managers; build pipeline for current and future hires
    • Proactively source passive and active candidates from a variety of channels, using a combination of traditional and innovative recruiting techniques to engage top-of-class diverse talent
    • Conduct in-depth phone/video interviews to qualify candidates against role requirements and key competencies and recommend qualified candidates to the hiring manager
    • Effectively articulate the opportunity to all candidates by communicating what makes the position, the company, and our studio model exciting
    • Act as an advocate for both the company and candidates throughout the hiring process; establish regular touchpoints, and provide diligent follow-through
    • Assist the hiring manager with writing and posting well-crafted job descriptions
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to set pre-screening questions, interview questions, and evaluation criteria
    • Work with the Talent Coordinator to schedule candidate interviews with the hiring managers and the interview teams
    • Facilitate interview debriefs and solicit feedback from candidates and the hiring team 
    • Accurately track, maintain, and report recruiting activities by meticulously updating Lever (ATS); provide additional reporting or metrics, as requested
    • Evaluate, streamline, and improve current talent acquisition tools, technologies, and processes
    • Contribute to additional recruiting projects and initiatives, as needed


    • 3-5 years of recruiting/sourcing experience required; startup experience is a plus 
    • Proven ability to effectively pitch opportunities for multiple companies and various positions
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to source qualified candidates
    • Experience in Lever or similar ATS required
    • Excellent project management and time management skills
    • Proficient with Google productivity suite (Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
    • Proficient communicator, both verbal and written
