About This Role
We are looking for a Head of Growth to lead performance social advertising for Wilbur Labs and our portfolio of companies. In this role, you will work alongside the Wilbur Labs and portfolio company leaders, to devise and implement B2C and B2B growth and measurement strategies across Wilbur Labs’ portfolio businesses that drive profitable growth. We believe excellent growth marketing strategy and implementation is a key ingredient to successfully scaling new ventures, making this a high-impact position at Wilbur Labs.

This is a rare opportunity for a business-oriented growth marketer who thrives in the day-day management and optimization of paid social strategy but is also looking to broaden their scope. This person will lead the development of new growth channels for category-defining companies, while also leading an emerging team within Wilbur Labs. 

This is a full-time, remote position (with a preference for Pacific or Mountain time zone).

Role & Responsibilities

    • Own the management, execution, and optimization of performance-based growth marketing strategies across all social channels primarily focusing first on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
    • Lead creative strategy for all performance social media, including translation of insights into testable hypotheses, driving prioritization, ensuring best practice adherence, developing advertising briefs, managing design resources, and rollout of world-class creative 
    • Implement advanced attribution and tracking strategies, such as Conversions API in partnership with engineering teams
    • Actively monitor and report on performance, providing key insights to portfolio company leaders 
    • Manage the performance social testing roadmap including incrementality testing and, A/B testing
    • Collaborate with the Organic team to build and execute successful paid campaigns that support the brand's social content strategy
    • Manage relationships with platform partners (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) and vendors such as creative agencies
    • Work closely with the engineering & product teams to build optimal onsite experiences and custom advertising tech to improve and scale campaigns

Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree
    • 5+ years of performance-based social marketing experience 
    • Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns
    • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
    • Experience with both B2C and B2B customer acquisition
    • Direct advertising account management experience
    • Design expertise and familiarity with photo editing software
    • Self-starter who will thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • A “roll up your sleeves” mentality

Preferred Qualifications & Prior Experience

    • Previous experience working at an early stage company
    • Demonstrated experience leading teams
    • Experience working across industries such as Travel, Employment, e-commerce, or Pet Services
