About Wilbur Labs
Wilbur Labs is a startup studio turning bold ideas into market-leading companies. We identify big customer pain points and build businesses to solve these problems. We then work with the founding team to manage the company and continue to provide funding, shared resources, and operational support to ensure management is focused on solving problems that matter to users. Since 2016, we have built and invested in 15 companies and expect to launch 3-4 new companies over the next year.

About This Role
Wilbur Labs is seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence to lead an exciting stealth venture that will offer non-dilutive debt financing and startup lending solutions, with a focus on providing growth capital in combination with unique marketing and strategic insights that facilitate faster growth for businesses.

In this role, you will lead the new venture, focusing on finalization of the go-to-market strategy and MVP launch. You will collaborate with an existing team of advisors, as well as the Engineering, Credit, and Growth leaders, to determine product-market fit, successfully acquire customers, and scale the business. Within the first 12 months, you will lead and execute fundraising to secure capital to support future growth of the business.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced founder or early startup leader with deep expertise in lending, marketing, and a passion for taking companies from 0-1 to work on a pre-funded, heavily-researched concept with a team of industry experts.

This role will initially be a contract position, working alongside the Wilbur Labs studio team to co-found and scale this new venture. Upon successful MVP launch of the venture, this contract position will convert into a full-time Co-founder/Executive role of the new business. The position is based in San Francisco; however, we are open to remote work.
