Roles
A skilled strategic assistant (SA), in the right fit with an individual they support, will perform a variety of tasks that may include the following

1) Time and Task Management
- Help manage the time, activities, and energy of the executive
- Manage executive calendar, meetings, and overall schedule and act as gatekeeper to executive access
- Inform executive of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
- Manage Asana for the executive and keep it up to date at all times
- Review, prioritize, respond to, and organize items the executive must weigh in on
- Understand, prioritize, and connect the executive’s long-term projects with immediate tasks
- Hold daily accountability check-in meetings as needed
- Manage own time with little supervision
- Exercise good judgment when answers to questions or additional resources are needed

2) Written Communication
-Handle all communication and tasks discreetly, sensitively, and effectively
- Facilitate communication with staff and interface with colleagues and clients on a regular basis in a warm and professional tone
- Other written communication projects as needed
- Maintain district confidentiality on all sensitive information that is accessible

3) Project Support
- Builds out complete projects in Asana for anything the executive is working on
- Think through an entire project from start to finish and anticipate all the details and communication that needs to happen to keep it on track
- Assist in the creation of new systems, including documents, resources, templates, communication rhythms, surveys, schedules, spreadsheets, etc. 

4) Agenda Management & Meeting Scribe
- Attend periodi recrurring or ad hoc meetings as requested by the executive.
- Create agendas, take notes, and complete follow-up action items as needed
- Hold a regular 1:1 with the executive based on needs

5) Administrative Responsibilities
- Liaison with other team members as needed around joint meetings, events, and projects 
- Assist with slide deck creation for presentations or development of other presentation materials
- Periodically schedule travel and make other travel arrangements
- Make purchases on behalf of the executive and classify expenses in Abacus
- Other duties as requested


Minimum Qualifications

    • BA/BS in Education (Teaching Certification Preferred)Experience working with diverse populations Teaching/RTI
    • Reside in the state of Colorado, Denver Metro area preferred
    • Knowledge of Response to Intervention, Universal Screeners for academics, and behavior
    • Confidently facilitate meetings and groups
    • Proficient and fluid with technology such as G-Suite, Zoom or similar web conferencing platform, and Asana or similar task management system. 
    • Professional, courteous, and clear verbal communication. Fast and accurate (grammar/spelling) written communication. Great listening skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough. A natural propensity for time management and task follow-through.
    • Project management experience, or natural ability for managing projects. 
    • Knack for systems thinking.
    • Team player who is self-motivated, takes initiative and is resourceful when solving problems, and goes the extra mile.
    • Growth mindset; open to new ideas and interested in learning and growing, personally and professionally. Open to giving and receiving feedback.

Compensation and hours

    • 10 hours per week, flexible, primarily remote
    • Monday - Friday, daytime hours
    • $20 per hour
$20 - $20 an hour
