You will be joining a team of performance-driven Willowers, backed by the most advanced technology the built world has ever seen.

Willow is seeking a Principal Software Engineering who can both lead cross-company initiatives and be active with the technical aspects of software development, specifically within an Azure environment. The position requires cross-collaboration across multiple teams and time-zones and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated substantial cross-company influence in their prior positions.

In this role, you'll remain actively engaged in hands-on tasks, contributing code to ongoing projects and spearheading the design of new initiatives. However, your primary focus will be on shaping architecture, providing guidance, and mentoring others to ensure the delivery of top-tier software solutions.

Responibilities

    • Overseeing the entirety of software development across the company to guarantee uniformity, adherence to best practices, exemplary code quality, security measures, observability, and reliability.
    • Collaborating across functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Delivery, to to generate both business results and technical solutions.
    • Working with partners to craft seamless product implementations spanning multiple companies to providing guidance to senior leadership on technical and product strategy.
    • Enforcing best security best practices and and driving continual enhancements to minimize vulnerabilities and conducting
    • Architecting intricate Azure systems with containers, networking elements, proxies, and a wide range of Azure resource types.

Requirements

    • Operating at an architectural level on complex .NET + Typescript/React applications with demonstrated experience in constructing and deploying systems on Azure is required
    • Experience in setting technical standards including allowed languages, libraries, Azure resources, and .Net versions.
    • Exudes confidence in their solutions and approaches to topics and will be sought out to participate in company-level initiatives because of their candor and thoughtfulness, and being a champion for security.
    • Acting as a connoisseur of architecture and a positive influence across the entire company.
