As a Finance Manager in the San Francisco office, you will be supporting a high-energy, rapidly growing company. You will report to one of the co-founders who oversees Business Development & Operations. A critical member of the finance/operations team, you are on the front lines of accounting, FP&A, and AP/AR operations. This role will work with teams across the company to aid in effective data driven decision making. Along with performing additional ad-hoc projects for various company initiatives, the Finance Manager will drive constant process improvement to focus less on process and more on analysis.

Responsibilities

    • Assist with monthly and quarterly forecasting
    • In partnership with the VP of Operations, ownership of the company’s financial model
    • Develop, track, and report on key operating and financial metrics
    • Perform analysis of company initiatives
    • Align with key members across all relevant revenue and product teams
    • Provide a source of insightful ad-hoc business analytical support
    • Managing outsourced accounting team and monthly close process
    • Develop reports for the executive team and board
    • Owning AP & AR operations

Requirements

    • Top tier college degree (preferably in Finance or Economics)
    • 3-6 years of related work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or accounting
    • You are a self-starter that anticipates requests and doesn’t need a lot of oversight 
    • Demonstrated excellence translating datasets into actionable results
    • Superior quantitative and analytical abilities
    • Strong financial modeling skills 
    • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
