We're hiring a CSL-Certified Field Technician to join our team, supporting the Boston, MA, and New Haven-Milford, CT metro areas, including surrounding communities such as Norwood, MA, Wallingford, CT, and Hartford, CT.
In this role, you'll travel regularly within these regions and occasionally nationwide, so flexibility and comfort with travel are essential.
As a CSL-Certified Field Technician at Window Nation, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing precise project measurements and completing essential post-sale services. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to our reputation for outstanding quality and customer care.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintains Construction Supervisor License (CSL)*
- Visits residential customer sites to measure each window, door, sliding glass door opening as needed
- Ensures orders meet required installation specifications; ensures comprehensive purchase order, including material and labor requirements
- Supports pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor/materials
- Reviews installation project/process with customers
- Anticipates roadblocks that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance; recommend solutions
- Executes change order specifications
- Maintains service parts inventory and equipment
- Completes service assessments; identifies needed services, materials, and labor to relevant stakeholders
- Fulfills service appointment specifications
- Maintains a substantive knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
Required Qualifications
- Construction Supervisor License (CSL)**
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows
- 2+ years professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects
- Must be able to pass EPA certification and follow EPA Regulations
- Knowledge of local permit/license/historical/HOA requirements
- Valid Driver’s License; and driving record that meets company’s insurance standards
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel; experience with Customer Relationship management systems preferred
- Capability to navigate various applications on an iPad
- Customer-centric mindset
- Superior time and project management skills
- Ability to navigate a CRM system (i.e., SalesForce, Dynamics, Microsoft systems)
- Ability to use an extension ladder in a safe manner to measure windows and perform services
$85,000 - $85,000 a year
