Position Summary:

This position serves as the front desk receptionist who is responsible for providing general office support including receiving and directing visitors, vendors and supply partners to the appropriate departments. Answers and directs incoming calls to the appropriate internal employees.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.

    • Greets the callers and directs them to the appropriate employees
    • Provides callers with routine information, such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information
    • Reviews the weekly FedEx statement and reconciles any billing discrepancies with the appropriate staff member
    • Ensures that visitors sign in and maintains logging system
    • Sorts incoming faxes and mail and ensures that they are distributed to the correct departments
    • Opens and sorts mail received from the Richmond Office “Yellow Bag” and ensures that all items listed have been received
    • Processes outgoing and incoming Fed-Ex and UPS deliveries
    • Ensures that Bank Courier picks up deposits
    • Prepares the out-going mail to Richmond “Yellow Bag” and ensures that it is taken to the pick up box
    • Assists with new hire onboarding including, but not limited to, creating sales training binders and PPE kits, ordering lunch, ordering business cards and name plates and filing
    • Creates labels and file folders
    • Partner with HR Generalist on special projects and other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Position Requirements:

    • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
    • Reliability and ability to exercise discretion
    • Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, Word and Excel
$19 - $20.50 an hour
Physical Standard:

The employee must be able to walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and lift if necessary, up to 25
pounds. To successfully perform the essential job functions, an employee must meet the
physical demands required for this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

Individual may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface
for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lift
as required when filing documents or storing materials through the work day.
