Diego Beekman Mutual Housing Association is seeking an Office Cleaner to join our team at Diego Beekman, a 1,200-unit property in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you will ensure all office cleaning functions are in accordance with company standards. You will help ensure that the appearance and the physical condition of the maintenance office satisfies ownership and management objectives.
Please note that this position offers a pay rate of $18.87 per hour. Additionally, this a union position, which will include union benefits and compensation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all office trash and recycling; All preparation needs to be completed in accordance with city rules and regulations.
- Perform day-to-day tasks, including but not limited to: cleaning windows, walls, floors, stairwells, and carpets; emptying office trash cans
- Perform other cleaning functions as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to understand spoken and written English.
- Ability to lift, carry, or push items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
$18.87 - $18.87 an hour
