Assistant Property Manager (Vista Woods)

WinnCompanies is searching for a dependable and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of a 179-unit senior housing community in Pinole, CA, including leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service.
Please note that this position is offering $23.00 to $25.00 hourly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required.
- Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents processing applications and recertifications, and negotiating lease renewals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, respond to resident issues and complaints in a timely manner, and promote positive resident relations.
- Assist in all facets of physical and financial management as needed under the supervision of the Property Manager.
- Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
- Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, as well as resident correspondence and recertification notices.
- Monitor the flow of accounts payable, from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in affordable housing, tax credit, and property management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a busy office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, independent and a self-starter.
- Willing to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
$23 - $25 an hour
