Assistant Property Manager (Artisan Square)

We are looking for a highly motivated, and energetic person to be a part of our property management team!

The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of the property including leasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, service requests, and customer service for a 204-unit, multi-family, conventional market, apartment complex in Sacramento.

This position offers $22.00 to $23.00 hourly. The work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

    • Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required.
    • Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, and negotiating lease renewals.
    • Perform market surveys and handle social media platforms.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations.
    • Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned. Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
    • Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.

Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Minimum of at least 1 to 2 years’ experience in leasing or property management.
    • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
    • Experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
    • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn leasing and property management.
    • Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced office environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
    • Highly motivated, independent and a self-starter; willing to take the lead.
    • Ability to follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Associate's degree.
    • Knowledge of property management.
    • Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software.
    • Marketing and social media experience.
$22 - $23 an hour
