WinnCompanies is looking for a Floating Senior Maintenance Supervisor who will train, coach, develop, and work side by side with on-site maintenance teams. This is a floating opportunity that will require travel across various sites across CA.

This position is offering a pay range of $35.00 to $41.00 hourly based on experience. Please note that the work schedule for this job is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekends. This position reports to the Director of Facilities.


    • Lead and manage maintenance staff at the properties on a day-to-day basis and act as a working supervisor when not supervising staff. Assists in hiring, developing, training, and holding staff accountable to operating standards. Conduct and participate in weekly staff meetings.
    • Prepare work schedules for maintenance staff and vendors to complete service requests, maintain the preventive maintenance program and overall curb appeal.
    • Complete monthly building inspections and review third party property inspections to resolve maintenance repairs. Assists in completing unit inspections as needed.
    • Maintain working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects. Solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
    • Participate in on-call activity during off-hours, emergencies, and hands-on maintenance activity.


    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in residential/apartment maintenance.
    • 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
    • A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
    • CAMT certification.
    • Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    • Highly skilled and knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC.
    • Working knowledge of REAC/NSPIRE inspections.
    • A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
    • Excellent customer service skills. 
    • Ability to provide basic tools and equipment necessary to perform daily duties. 
    • Ability to travel within Southern California, primarily Los Angeles County (mileage reimbursement provided).

Preferred Qualifications

    • Vocational or technical training.
    • HVAC, asbestos, or lead-based paint certifications.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Residential property maintenance management experience.
    • Experience with RealPage property management software.
    • 5-8 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
$35 - $41 an hour
