Working as a Social Media Associate at Wintermute
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and confident self-starter to create and manage content, drive engagement, and build relationships across our social media platforms. As part of Wintermute’s marketing team, you'll take over the management of our social media handles and support the management of social media accounts of associated companies and brands.
We're on the lookout for someone who's not just familiar with crypto but is deeply passionate about it. Someone who not only understands the workings of social media —particularly Crypto Twitter — but is capable of leveraging the latest narratives and trends and translating them into content. This role is perfect for a crypto enthusiast who is adept at navigating social media, likes to think and work quickly, and is meme-savvy with the ability to ideate in-depth, value-driven content that resonates with our audience.
What you will work on:
- Content ideation, (co-)creation & management: Plan, create, edit, and publish content daily.
- Engagement & growth: Boost engagement across our social platforms, identifying and executing growth opportunities through insights and direct user interactions.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with our product, business development, research, design teams, and other teams to generate new content ideas and ensure brand consistency.
- Visual content collaboration: Partner with our design team to produce eye-catching visual content.
- Community interaction: Be the front line of communication with our followers, responding to queries with promptness and a personal touch.
- Trend monitoring: Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest in social media, content, and applications to keep our content fresh and engaging.
- Trend analysis: Perform data analysis and identify trends in crypto, that can be turned into actionable insights and engaging content.
- Performance analytics: Measure and report on the effectiveness of social media activities to refine strategies and maximize impact.
- New applications: Explore and propose clever ways to utilize social media beyond current practices to maximize support for various product launches and campaigns.
Hard skill requirements
- Proven background in social media management in the crypto industry.
- Skill in breaking down complex concepts into smaller, digestible bits, while being highly creative and in touch with the latest in Web3.
- Deep interest and knowledge in crypto, trading, and comfortability navigating between degen culture and more polished institutional requirements.
- Capability to produce content quickly for timely topics, and in-depth, value-driven discussions.
- Hands-on approach to content analytics, using data to inform content strategies and decisions.
