Nature of the role

Strategy & Operations is a team in the COO office, which leads high-impact strategic and operational initiatives that often require cross-functional coordination and management of external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Operations, the Operations Manager will help the team in the implementation and end-to-end management of business operations that will help the company scale further and achieve its business  goals. As an Operations Manager, you will have exposure to several different functional areas, including procurement, go-to-market, legal, finance, external and internal  events and more. We are looking for a hands-on, practical team member who will be ready to support and improve the company’s operations as we achieve our strategic goals

Responsibilities:

    • Procurement, including negotiation of high value strategic supply contracts
    • Manage corporate subscriptions, including software and office tools, insurance policies and more
    • Manage relationships with key suppliers, including processing of payments and coordination of invoicing with our finance department
    • Creation, management and optimization of corporate messaging accounts for counterparty-facing employees
    • Support in the constant improvement and maintenance of CRM and other strategic data sets
    • Support organization of conferences, external and internal  events 

Hard skills requirements:

    • BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Engineering/Business/Economics/Finance or any related degree
    • 3-5 years experience working in operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as start-up/scale-up, consulting or similar.
    • Strong problem-solving and project-management skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - the role requires a lot of interaction with various teams and external stakeholders, and it is very important to be able to communicate effectively with them
    • Willingness, aptitude and curiosity to understand the fundamentals of blockchain technologies, algorithmic trading and liquidity provision
    • Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, CRM (eg Hubspot or Salesforce) 

Preferred Skills:

    • Professional experience working in a similar role in either a crypto or a fintech firm
    • Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python) 
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) 
    • Experience with events logistics (conferences, office events, etc.)
    • Experience with procurement of IT Infrastructure
