Senior Executive Opportunity: We are seeking a critical addition to a dynamic food tech startup that is disrupting the nutrition, food, wellness and health industries. We have built out an excellent tech and data management team with a very strong CTO leader. We now need to build the same talent on the market facing activities. This person would oversee all commercial, growth, revenue, verticals, products, consumer acquisition and retention and work closely with our SVP of Marketing on brand elevation. With our CTO, and CFO, this person would be a member of the office of the CEO/Founder and would have to have the potential to grow into a greater leadership role.  

The Company: WISEcode™, a leading foodtech company, has built the world’s best comprehensive nutrition database with 15,000 attributes on each of the 650,000+ foods in our WISEdata™ — 1,000 times more data than any other source. This compares to the 15 attributes found on standard Nutrition Facts Panels - what the FDA instructs our food companies to provide. We have built our proprietary WISEdata™ by incorporating the best scientific studies, data sources, expert findings in nutrition, health, our patented AI & machine learning, and proprietary lab testing. In prior years, we have focused on building the data and infrastructure and in 2025 we turn to market - facing activities, thus, the opportunity.

Addressable Markets:  This position needs to have the breath and depth of skill, strategic thinking and execution ability to lead WISEcode into multiple industry segments and verticals. Specifically there are B2C, B2B, enterprise sales, scientific markets, API opportunities as the WISEcode data is critical to over 42% of the US economy. We would expect this individual to work closely with the Founder, CTO and others to develop and lead a ration roll out strategy that finds early adopters from which to leverage growth and market penetration.   

Consumer Focus: Our initial focus is to identify bad ingredients in our foods as 73% of packaged foods contain sketchy ingredients. Our unique data allows WISEcodeTM has answer question consumers talk about but have no way of evaluating such as:  is the food ultra processed, does it contain ingredients banned in other countries, are there seed oils, does the food have any of the 4 lab created ingredients (artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners), is it all natural and have a clean label and many more. No information source in the world, even the FDA or USDA can answer the question about quality of ingredients but WISEcodeTM can. If Americans eliminate just bad ingredients, most of their food issues will be solved.

WISEcodeTM has also introduced the Food Vote, where our users can elevate the power of a collective people’s voice. While RFK attempts reform, WISEcode will lead the leaderboard full of the best/worse items in our food to send a message to food companies.

Later in the year, WISEcode will add the nutrition side of the data using our patented nutrition estimate tech tools. This will allow WISEcode to give a complete presentation of food, both the quality of ingredients as well as the nutrition benefits.

WISEcodeTM will also be introducing personalization. Powered by AI and the world’s best food and nutrition database, WISEcode embraces the fact that we are all different, have different dietary needs, objectives, and preferences, and should not be at the mercy of market spin or “expert” opinion. Every one of us should have the information we need to make the best decisions for ourselves.

Scientific Market:  WISEcode has already built an outstanding Scientific Advisory Board and would expect by the end of the year to have ~200 of the world’s best scientists using and improving our data. The scientific world is already recognizing the disruptive and important data WISEcode is providing. We expect to have our scientific community lead to enterprise sales to major research organizations.  

Enterprise Sales: the food industry is ~$1.5 trillion and the health care industry is $3.5 trillion. Every enterprise participating in those industries will ultimately want and need our data to compete. While this marketplace is attractive, it will have a longer sales cycle and few “early adopters”. Beyond food and health WISEcode is relevant to beauty, energy, libito, longevity, child development, and many others.  Most of these are long term focus.

API:  there are 1000’s of companies that deliver consumer products based on really bad and limited information (15 data points and mostly macro nutrients). Everyone would enhance their products and build consumer uniqueness if they had access to our data. Ultimately, WISEcode might have an API activity.

Government Comms. RFK recently alluded to “smart tech” (what we call Food Tech) as a solution to consumer choice.  The government data bases kept by the USDA and FDA are really poor and WISEcode can easily step in to replace the NFP on labels with our NFP+ and make government information obsolete - perhaps in partnership with Government Leaders.  

And there are many other opportunities which are longer term such as backward integration into farming, resource management, environment, or forward integration into health records, DNA/RNA, connecting with personalized profiles. Ultimately, we expect WISEcode to extend its food data to human data so we know how different people respond to different foods/nutrition so we can basically achieve personalized nutrition based on data, not just preferences.   

Detail of the Opportunity: We are seeking a hands-on Market facing Chief Revenue Officer who has scaled startups before and is excited about WISEcode’s transformative, comprehensive food and nutrition database powered by AI. If you've built and scaled companies before and are excited about shaping where Food meets Tech and are excited for a go-to market, we want to talk to you.

A Chief Revenue Officer with 0 to 1 experience in B2B,  B2C, GTM and a “doer”. You will report directly to WISEcode’s CEO/Founder and will work closely with the CEO/Founder, CTO and SVP of Marketing in a groundbreaking initiative at the intersection of data engineering, machine learning, and proprietary nutrition. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of wellness by showcasing WISEcode’s value proposition’s innovative nutrition database to the public. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Chief Revenue Officer to drive revenue growth, lead, build and inspire our team, and play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in leadership, sales, strategic positioning, a passion for coaching teams, and a track record of exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities:
● Shape our market positioning and strategic narrative
● Drive key business initiatives and new market opportunities
● Create entirely new business models that we haven't explored yet
● Work directly with technical founders to translate vision into market strategy
● The role will be accountable for all elements of the value creation plan including go-to market strategy, growing the company’s customer base and executing a robust new customer revenue/acquisition
● Related to revenue generation include identifying opportunities for growth and removing barriers to growth; interfacing with existing customers to help them grow and identifying new customers to enable rapid growth
● Identifying the right size and type of customer business that best fits the business plan
● Customer pricing strategies, variables around resources, and capacity allegation, considering the economics and the customers' vantage point of why they are bringing the product to market and the innovation cycle they are after
● Lead, mentor, and build a team of high-performing professionals
● Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed company goals
● Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular reporting to executive leadership
● Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering and customer success to optimize the customer journey
● Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer focus

Qualifications:
● 10 + years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
● Exceptional leadership and team management skills
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Strong understanding of corporate finance, business operations, and industry trends
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
● Thrives in a relational and collaborative environment; demonstrates the integrity, wisdom, persistence, and humor necessary to address the practicalities of a growing, dynamic organization
