We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team. The goal of a Program Manager at Wisk is to ensure that program milestones, budget and staffing are optimized and remain within allocations. You will be part of the Autoflight & Navigation team that is responsible to develop and certify onboard functionality supporting autonomous flights.

This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 2 to 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. 

What you will do:

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, flight operations, R&D and manufacturing, to achieve program milestones and objectives.
    • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet program goals within defined timelines and budget constraints.
    • Collaborate with multiple teams to define technical requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and assess emerging technologies for integration into eVTOL systems.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of eVTOL aircraft through iterative testing and design iterations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and suppliers. Perform supplier management activities.
    • Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and resource allocation.

What you have done:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of program management experience in Aerospace.
    • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
    • Familiarity with MS Project, scrum/agile methodologies and JIRA task management
    • Knowledge of complex, highly coupled aircraft systems or avionics systems.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical data to drive data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across organizational levels.
    • Prior experience working with regulatory agencies, such as the FAA or EASA, to obtain certification for novel aircraft systems is desirable.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer and project meetings.

Desired:

    • Familiarity with ARP4754A, DO-178C, ARP4761, Part 23/25, regulations, AC XX.1309, or similar standards
    • Have PMP Certification

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $175,950 - $207,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
