We are looking for a Hardware Process Assurance Engineer to join our team. The goal of a Hardware Process Assurance Engineer at Wisk is to assure the process for developing, controlling, and verifying hardware products is planned and complied with, and effectively improving the quality of our airborne electronic hardware (AEH) products – whether developed by Wisk or provided by suppliers. You will be part of the Enterprise Quality team that is committed to creating, implementing and developing a culture of continuous improvement.

    • The Hardware Process Assurance Engineer at Wisk will work closely with various functional and product teams, ensuring the development of high-quality, safety-critical, well-tested hardware to build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will be part of the Enterprise Quality team that leads and partners with organizations on developing our Quality Management Systems (QMS), internal audit programs and establishes our quality assurance processes.  Your mission is to continuously improve our culture of quality, compliance and safety. 

What you will do:

    • As part of the Enterprise Quality organization, and deployed in a Compliance Team you will act as a Hardware Process Assurance Engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
    • You will take part in project activities, from proposal and planning through hardware delivery.
    • You will support supplier oversight and evaluation throughout the supplier’s Hardware Development Lifecycle.
    • You will help support problem solving activities and analysis of project hardware quality metrics to improve hardware quality and manage risk.
    • You will plan and execute hardware quality audits and assessments; support Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) and improvement initiatives.
    • As a Hardware Process Assurance Engineer, you will help define the Hardware Process Assurance Plan for new projects.

What you have done:

    • B.S. in engineering, electrical, computer science, mathematics or physics with at least 8 years of hardware process assurance engineering experience supporting hardware with DO-254 requirements.
    • You have performed hardware process assurance audits and assessments
    • You have hands-on experience with Hardware Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Integration & Test)
    • You have a strong and applied understanding working with Quality Management Systems

Desired:

    • Familiarity with aerospace standards, terminology and tools.
    • You have knowledge of Process Assurance for System Engineering (ARP-4754A) and Software Engineering (DO-178C)
    • Experience in Quality Management Systems (AS9100)

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $116,164 - $133,522 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
