We are looking for an intern to join our Global Partnerships team. The goal of a Global Partnerships intern at Wisk is to ensure that Wisk’s ongoing and growing presence and influence with public officials (eg, federal, state, local stakeholders), as well as industry partners, shapes the Urban Air Mobility market. In this role, a successful candidate is a student leader, passionate about aerospace and supporting the local framework for sustainable transportation.   They are a creative thinker able to engage with internal and external stakeholder to execute Wisk’s Commercial & Policy priorities. 

What you will do:

    • Identify and analyze state and local developments in target markets, which are relevant to the Company’s business interests and engage key internal and external stakeholders to develop company strategies based on these global developments 
    • Support the development and execution of advocacy strategies to influence state and local legislation, regulation and other public policies of strategic interest to the Company in key jurisdictions
    • Partner closely with Company executives and other business partners to inform policy positions and ensure that advocacy and goals are aligned with the company’s business priorities and values

Required Skills/Experience:

    • You have worked with aviation, automotive, or other technology and/or transportation-related company/entity.
    • You have hands-on experience integrating complex systems and solving associated problems
    • You have a strong and applied knowledge of complex business processes, relationship management, and other business-related capabilities.  
    • You are team oriented, and will work to achieve strategic and tactical business goals.

Project Plan/ Statement of Work (SOW):

    • Research and survey existing and upcoming legislation/grant relevant to AAM, EVs and air autonomy
    • Support North America City and local stakeholder analysis 
    • Support writing of thought leading content for autonomous AAM at local level
$20 - $20 an hour
Hourly rate will be $20 an hour.


Hourly rate will be $20 USD an hour.

This internship role will be based at Wisk's headquarters in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Eligibility Requirements For US
Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA
Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
