We are looking for an Airline Operations Training Manager to join our team. The goal of an Airline Operations Training Manager at Wisk is to ensure the successful creation, implementation and management of our operational training systems. You will be part of the Wisk Airline Team, reporting to the Flight Operations Manager, and will assist in ensuring that we receive operational certification for our airline with responsibility for creating and maintaining our training program.

This is an operational role where your past experience and understanding of training systems will help create, build and grow an entirely new aviation industry

What you will do:

    • You will develop and implement the curriculum and training programs for Wisk Airline personnel, including operators, crew members and ground personnel
    • You will stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices and implement updates into the training program, as needed
    • You will collaborate with the operations, safety, and engineering teams to ensure training aligns with company goals and objectives
    • You will conduct training sessions and assessments to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards
    • You will manage training records and documentation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
    • You will conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in training programs
    • You will develop and manage training resources

Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Education, or related field
    • Minimum 7 years experience in Part 135 training management and training system implementation
    • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification
    • Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards
    • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Proficiency in training management software and technology
    • You have a strong and applied knowledge of the development and implementation of training courses, curricula and syllabi

Desired:

    • You are familiar with training management software such as Learning Management Systems (LMS)

$128,306 - $150,948 a year

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $128,306 - $150,948 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
