WithMe Health is a modern pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) with a unique personalized medication guidance solution that sits on a purpose-built technology stack and offers the best PBM member mobile app experience in the market.  Our pharmacist and pharmacy technician Medication Guides leverage this technology to bring their expertise and a human touch to proactively help our members.
We founded WithMe in 2018 to address the growing challenges and unmet needs with legacy PBMs: misaligned business models, frustrating interactions, unknown outcomes, high costs, and a lack of real transparency.
We’re growing fast.  We’ve raised $48 million from Oak HC/FT, OMERS Ventures, and other leading VCs and strategic partners to take on the $450+ billion PBM industry.

The role (in a nutshell):
The Head of Product is a strategic member of the Executive team working directly with our engineering, clinical, data science, and sales & marketing teams who is passionate about creating and building customer experiences and driving the product vision, definition, and prioritization.

The role (a bit more):

WithMe Health is seeking a Head of Product to support our rapidly growing organization.  The successful candidate has digital health experience leading product strategy and development for new models (preferably to the self-funded market), is consumer-obsessed, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational and relationship building skills combined with effective listening and communication skills.

The Head of Product will further develop, operationalize, and lead WithMe Health’s product and platform as a service.  In addition, you will be responsible for the Company’s product strategy and roadmap as well as continuing to iterate on the platform to ensure clear market differentiation.  You will attend and represent the Company at industry conferences, customer and channel / strategic partner meetings, and roundtables as the product lead.  In addition to these responsibilities, you will work closely with the rest of our leadership team to directly impact the success of the overall Company at varying stages of growth.

The Head of Product must have a passion for building healthcare products, designing modern and novel user experiences, and making healthcare better.  We will expect you to be an entrepreneurial builder that leads through influence with a strong bias for fast execution and an innate ability to drive collaboration across all teams to deliver results. 

With a strength for working cross functionally, you will leverage your comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the US healthcare system to create an innovative product offering in the market. 

As one of the critical hires on our team, you’ll help us scale our mission in developing the market and executing our strategy to rapidly grow our customer base while delivering a patient-centric experience


    • San Francisco / Bay Area, CA (ideal, due to headquarters)
    • We're open to remote work, as our team is highly effective at working remotely and meets in person every 4-6 weeks


    • Develop product strategy, prioritization, and processes across all functional areas
    • Manage existing and new products, roadmaps, and solution launches
    • Establish KPIs to drive efficient product development and timely delivery and to measure positive results through customer satisfaction, retention, and experience
    • Continually evaluate and improve your departments’ efficiency and productivity in the most cost effective way to deliver, maintain, and improve new and existing solutions
    • Develop relevant vendor partnerships with third parties as necessary
    • Develop a compliant platform that adheres to all Federal and State laws
    • Continue to build a high performing team to support attainment of these and other corporate goals
    • Lead the creation and management of market and product strategy and requirement documents (e.g. MRDs / PRDs, context, competitor matrix), measurable success metrics, prototypes, use cases, and workflows
    • Collaborate with engineering to build a platform that realizes the product and Company vision
    • Work cross functionally as needed to gather the information required to answer client questions through the sales process

Qualifications and Experience

    • 10+ years of product management/product development experience in the healthcare market
    • Strong working knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem; knowledge of pharmacy benefits managers and commercial insurance is a bonus
    • Startup leadership experience at a digital health start-up with experience launching products from inception to launch
    • Ability to develop a thorough comprehension of a market including stakeholders, collaborators and competitors
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Proven track record in healthcare consumer products and enterprise applications preferred
    • Expert in running the entire product development process from design to launch, leveraging best practices and processes to improve the process where relevant
    • Experienced manager, with the emotional intelligence and patience to manage and develop talent
    • Team player who is ready to roll up your sleeves and work together to help overcome challenges while keeping a positive mindset
    • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles about driving product differentiation with B2B businesses and delivering results
    • Familiarity with and comfortable working in remote/distributed teams
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Precise attention to detail

    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA / Master's Degree a plus
