The Role

WithMe is looking for our first Business Development Associate, who, working closely with our Chief
Commercial Officer, will be responsible for building our pipeline in the large employer market. As an
early member of the Sales team you’ll wear many hats, get broad exposure across the commercial
team and be involved in some of our most strategic, high impact sales processes. This is an
opportunity to shape the development of a fast growing company disrupting the $453 billion
Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) industry. Successful candidates will have a track record of high
achievement and a ‘can do’ attitude while working with dynamic teams in a fast-paced, cross-
functional environment. This position will require work out of our headquarters in San Mateo.


    • Work closely with our Chief Commercial Officer to drive market awareness and build pipeline in the large employer market
    • Support the Chief Commercial Officer at conferences and with meetings
    • Drive outbound prospecting through account and contact research
    • Process inbound lead qualification and follow up from marketing events, conferences, trade shows, email campaigns and website inquiries
    • Work within our CRM to track, analyze, and report on sales activities and KPIs while taking ownership in improving and creating various sales-related processes
    • The goal of this role is to advance the right candidate to either Business Development Team Lead or a role within our Strategy & Operations, Sales, Marketing or Customer Success teams within 12-24 months


    • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, prefer 1-2 years experience in a customer facing role
    • Track record of resilience and success (can be from business, sports, hobbies, or anything that requires dedication and perseverance)
    • Team player who is motivated by personal contributions, and contributing to team success
    • Well-organized and self-motivated person who can thrive and stay personally accountable without constant oversight or managerial intervention
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps and LinkedIn
    • Previous sales development experience and Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Be a US national citizen, or have a legal permit to work in the USA
