We’re looking for our first finance hire to oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial strategy. At this early, high-growth stage, getting insights will require being hands-on with data across our marketing and sales operations, end-user platform usage, and budget allocations. You’ll analyze nearly every aspect of our business and provide critical insights to help drive our biggest business decisions. We’re looking for a super data-driven, highly analytical person who knows the right questions to ask and has the curiosity and skill set to get the answers. You’ll work side by side with our Business Intelligence, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams and the CEO to lay the foundation of our financial systems and ensure the future financial health of the company.

What you'll work on

    • Build out (and maintain) a series of financial models to analyze and report on the most critical aspects of our business, allowing us to estimate financial results and optimize our key performance drivers
    • Oversee our spend and vendor negotiations, partnering with our accounting firm on month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Work with our team leaders to review key metrics / results, create / review budgets, and establish clear lines of communication amongst all stakeholders
    • Work with our team leaders to identify new data points to capture and structure to inform decisions and inform strategy
    • Take responsibility for maintaining data integrity with relevant stakeholders
    • Work with our BI team to lead the forecasting function and provide company leadership with analyses and projections on pricing, margin expansion, LTV, CAC
    • Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist in creating strategic plans for business growth and direction
    • Deliver a monthly financial reporting package, including financial statements, key metrics, and dashboards
    • Partner with the CEO on investor relations and capital strategy, preparing board decks that present key business insights

About you

    • At least 5 years of related experience, with a preference for working within high-growth businesses
    • Exceptionally strong modeling and analytical skills with an endless curiosity that enables us to uncover meaningful insights to drive our business
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance principles
    • Executive-level quantitative / analytical skills
    • Skilled in visual representation of data and insights, through slides and other documentation
    • Excellent communication skills that lend to both internal and external presentation
    • Degrees in Accounting / Finance / Mathematics or equivalent strongly preferred
