About the Working Families Party
The Working Families Party (WFP) is the progressive party for the multiracial working class, fighting for a nation that works for the many, not the few. We recruit, train, and support transformational candidates up and down the ballot — and run them to win.
We believe that no matter where we come from or what our color, most of us want the same things. We want to earn enough to thrive, not just survive, and leave a better future for our kids. We want healthy food and clean water, safe neighborhoods and a safe world. We want to be free.
The Working Families Party is regular people coming together across our differences to make a better future for us all. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful. We want an America which realizes the promise – unrealized in our history – of freedom and equality for all.
The goal of the Georgia Working Families Party Internship Program is to provide real-world skills and opportunities to students and emerging activists. Through the program, participants will support our electoral and advocacy work. As a Data & Admin Intern you'll be part of a mission-driven team that values growth, curiosity, and collaboration. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one—what matters most is your willingness to learn and contribute. You’ll be supported every step of the way through:
Hands-on guidance from experienced staff members across departments
A structured onboarding process to help you understand our systems, tools, and goals
Regular check-ins to help you set learning goals, ask questions, and get feedback
Opportunities to build skills in data management, political organizing, and administrative coordination
A culture where questions are welcomed and learning is a shared priority
Whether you're just getting started in politics, data, or nonprofit work, we’re here to help you gain meaningful experience in a supportive and values-aligned environment.
