About the role:
As WorkOS is a technical product made by developers, for developers, the Solutions Engineering team is critical to every step of the customer experience — from demoing to integration. As an experienced Solutions Engineer, you will work with teams at a range of high growth companies. This role is best suited for someone who is a seasoned solutions engineer, empathetic, strong communicator with technical concepts, loves solving problem and is excited to help build out the team.

Responsibilities

    • Develop proof of concept applications built with the range of WorkOS products, present technical demos, and help WorkOS customers make the most of their integration
    • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders evaluating and utilizing WorkOS to understand their needs
    • Provide structured feedback and work closely within the Developer Success and Engineering teams
    • Design solutions that solve critical business challenges for a variety of companies
    • Manage relationships with enterprise customers

Qualifications 🌟

    • 7+ years experience working in a similar customer-facing solutions engineering role (solutions architect, or sales engineer)
    • Expertise with identity management and authentication use cases for B2B applications
    • Experience working in the sales lifecycle and driving outcomes for customers
    • Great communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Interest in solving open-ended business problems with a combination of technology and creative thinking
    • Experience in development and software architecture patterns, able to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other
    • Quick learner and relentlessly inquisitive
