Job Description
The Information Systems Manager is accountable for planning, building and running the global IT Infrastructure Operations and End User Services functions. This includes all aspects of infrastructure design/architecture, servers, storage environments and data centers (on-premises and in the cloud), infrastructure disaster recovery, voice and data networks, audio/visual, collaboration tools, end user computing, mobility, enterprise systems (e.g. email), and help desk and desk side services
This is a hands-on role expected to supervise functional managers/staff and daily operations, lead projects and the overall infrastructure investment portfolio, participate in daily operations, and plan for future growth.
 
Role Responsibilities
·         Manage internal and external IT staff and resources to ensure daily operations for critical business applications and infrastructure
·         Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, break-fix and operational support of all technologies in scope
·         Deliver a single-IT approach toward managing and delivering technology and services in scope
·         Own and pull through approved IT strategies and priorities for Infrastructure Operations function to deliver on Company and/or IT goals and objectives
·         Own infrastructure disaster recovery and business continuity, including planning, documentation, implementation and testing for all platforms
·         Maintain backups and perform regular testing in compliance with the backup policy
·         Own Change/Release management processes for Infrastructure Operations function
·         Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures and best practices
·         Define, lead and evolve implementation plans for the infrastructure based on global business requirements and IT strategies
·         Manages the benchmarking, analysis and recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
·         Participate in IT strategic planning, project planning and budget planning efforts.
 
Qualifications
·         5+ years experience in IT/Infrastructure support
·         Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
·         Highly proficient technical knowledge of current tools and best practices at scale
·         Must have experience in an enterprise environment supporting multiple sites, domestic and international
·         Must have experience with cloud infrastructure technologies and managing virtualized environments (Azure preferred)
·         Experience supporting complex/high volume data needs
·         Demonstrated experience standing up commercial capabilities and locations
·         Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems
·         Experience standing up hybrid cloud and internal environment
·         Ability to coordinate and lead complex cross-functional projects given multiple competing priorities or perspectives
·         Exemplify company values and be able to identify corresponding behaviors in others.
·         Ability to articulate the root cause of problems and define trade-offs while extracting and translating insights into solutions.
·         Experience independently presenting complex problems, goals, and ideas in a way that is accessible even to those unfamiliar with the project.
·         Operates with supervision, while keeping the strategy and high-level goals of the company in mind.
·         Demonstrates high standards in embracing and teaching our company's operating imperatives, starts to consciously apply them to every situation.
