Our mission is to empower the mobility of people at a societal level by guiding them to discover and attain new digital skills through clever use of data, design and technology.
 
We take a human-centered, data-driven approach to generate talent management and L&D insight and AI models. We evaluate individuals' perspectives, and embrace a culture of collaboration.
 
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
As the Head of Content & Learning Design, you will help shape the educational direction of our education and talent management platform. This leadership position requires a background in education, technology, and strategic planning. You will have a passion for learning, experience implementing successful educational programs, and the ability to inspire a culture of continuous improvement within our team. You'll report to the director of Dojo and work with other heads of other functions in the business.
 
We meet as a team in our Nihonbashi office up to 3 days per week in a hybrid workstyle.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
・Strategic Leadership:
   ・Develop a visionary learning strategy aligned with our goals
   ・Inspire creativity in educational content, methodologies, and delivery to enhance user engagement and learning outcomes
・Educational Strategy & Curriculum Development:
   ・Lead the development and curation of high-quality, modern educational content for online-only, in-person, or hybrid learning modes based on scaling and customer needs
   ・Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of our learning materials
・Team Leadership:
   ・Lead a team of educators, instructional designers, and learning technologists
   ・Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and learning among team members
・Product Integration:
   ・Collaborate with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams integrate pedagogical best practices into our technology solutions
   ・Ensure that educational content aligns with market needs and trends
・Learning Analytics:
   ・Implement data-driven decision-making processes to assess the effectiveness of educational programs
   ・Use data-driven insights to improve learning paths and personalize educational content
・Partnerships and Collaborations:
   ・Establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, organizations, and experts
   ・Collaborate with external partners to enhance the impact and reach of our educational initiatives
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience (8+ years) in a senior leadership role, delivering content and strategy for a B2B or B2C EdTech product
    • Experience developing educational learning programs that promote engagement and learning outcomes
    • Experience a leadership role within the education sector
    • Understanding of learning theories, instructional design, and emerging educational technologies
    • Comfortable working in a startup environment
    • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning
    • In-depth knowledge of educational methodologies, learning sciences, and the latest trends in education technology

NICE TO HAVES:

    • Japanese language ability
    • Data Analytics background
    • Understanding of modern software frameworks and design patterns
    • Knowledge of the automotive and manufacturing industries
