We follow a hybrid workstyle, combining office and remote work. Additionally, depending on future circumstances, day trips or work assignments in Woven City (Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture) may be required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This is an exciting opportunity where we invent new products and services for our customers. We are looking for an experienced UXUI Designer who can work with Product Managers and Engineers to develop best-in-class products.
Your role is to support qualitative customer research to find product value, sometimes with rapid prototype UI. We prioritize building hypotheses by engaging with as many potential customers as possible rather than conducting theoretical workshops. We value a UI that is continuously updated based on real customer feedback rather than a perfectly polished design. That's why, beyond UI design skills, you will also need to engage directly with customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
・UX Design through customer research:
・Support qualitative customer research and sometimes conduct it as an interviewer
・Summarize customer requirements in collaboration with the Product Managers and engineering team
・Rapid prototype creation:
・Create assets to clarify value for customers—specifically, UI prototypes, mock websites, and short promotional videos that customers can see, interact with, and provide feedback on
・Usability Enhancement:
・Develop and implement user interfaces that enhance usability and user experience
・Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to refine and redesign
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCD, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of design experience in a company that operates its own business, rather than outsourced work such as consulting
- 5+ years of experience in designing customer experiences through hands-on qualitative research
- 3+ years of experience in user interface design for web and mobile applications
- Strong ability on design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Business Level English and Japanese
NICE TO HAVES
- Collaboration experience with Product Managers, UX team, and engineering team
- Experience conducting Design Sprints
- Experience in designing tools for engineers
- Familiarity with React, Flutter, MUI framework, WCAG, Supernova documentation
