Our mission is to empower the mobility of people at a societal level by guiding them to discover and attain new digital skills through clever use of data, design, and technology.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product & Engineering group and help us craft unique experiences on our skill-based talent management business for our corporate customers. We want to find someone passionate about improving our software product through the lens of an experienced designer.

Reporting to the Head of Design, you will influence product strategy, and human-centered design for our products via our CX & Design squad within our Foundation Mission.

We have a hybrid work style and our office is in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to craft and improve our service journeys
- Evolve our Design System by working with our Frontend Chapter to create reusable components and journeys to improve our efficiency without compromising on our UX
- Lead usability studies and benchmark our system against our competitors in the context of UX and accessibility
- Create sound A/B testing hypotheses with our Product Managers and use data to inform us how well our designs have met their user goals
- Bring expertise on the many-sided nature of design and elevate our design strategy with our Head of Design

OUR DESIGN STACK
You will have the chance to help us shape our design workflows and their implementation.
We use:
- Figma for Hi/Lo-fi design output and journey designs
- FigJam for design facilitations and workshops
- The Atlassian suite to keep track of our design activities within an agile Scrum framework

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 7+ years of designing UX/UI for B2B/B2C applications that have a global audience (web or mobile)
    • 2+ years of leading a design initiative that has demonstrated results based on either customer or business metrics
    • You understand Atomic Design principles and know how to apply them
    • You are experienced in evolving an inclusive Design System that focuses on accessibility
    • You have a product design portfolio that exemplifies who you are as a designer
    • You have experience designing Hi/Lo-fi digital journeys on Figma
    • You are comfortable working collaboratively with Design, Product, and Engineering teams
    • You are comfortable with speaking and presenting in English at a professional level

NICE TO HAVES

    • You have deep experience designing SaaS businesses for the Japan or APAC market within the HRTech/EdTech space
    • You can use Japanese in daily life
