TEAM
Enterprise AI serves as a dedicated business unit delivering an encompassing AI platform. This platform provides a seamless end-to-end machine learning tooling experience, catering to and expediting the development of machine learning projects, such as autonomous driving, ADAS and others.
As the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations within the Enterprise AI team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Enterprise AI, leaders in product, engineering, and operations functions, as well as key stakeholders across Woven by Toyota and the Toyota Group, including primary users and senior leadership. Your role will involve strategizing, operating, and managing the Enterprise AI business to enhance its presence within Woven by Toyota and throughout the Toyota Group and its supply chain.

This is a hybrid individual contributor role, necessitating your onsite presence three days per week. You will directly report to the Head of Enterprise AI team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and oversee the business strategy and operational plans for Enterprise AI, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This involves conducting market research, creating business cases, and performing financial modeling. Understanding pricing and go-to-market strategies is essential.
- Coordinate annual goal setting, monthly evaluations, and quarterly reporting to track progress and drive accountability. Manage budgeting in collaboration with Toyota and Woven teams, ensuring financial alignment and compliance.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing planning, team management, governance, and guidelines. Collaborate with Business Operations and central functions to streamline day-to-day operations.
- Support the Head of Enterprise AI and senior leaders in agenda planning, meeting preparation, and follow-up. Lead special projects as required, ensuring timely execution and follow-up on tasks assigned.
- Serve as an advisor to the Head of Enterprise AI, providing insights to support decision-making. Communication skills are crucial for conveying complex ideas effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in strategy and management consulting roles with esteemed firms, or in corporate strategy/business planning/program management within leading organizations or startups, with a focus on AI and technology-driven initiatives.
- Proven track record in effectively managing intricate stakeholder relationships, demonstrating the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and key partners.
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive documentation, conducting robust business cases and financial modeling, and delivering impactful presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in driving business execution, process management, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a keen understanding of the intricacies involved in scaling and optimizing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of the technology industry landscape and emerging trends, particularly in AI/ML, SaaS, and platform products
NICE TO HAVES:
- Advanced business degree such as an MBA from a top University
- Background in a STEM undergraduate degree or economics and mathematics background
- Previous OEM experience
- Previous ML/AI experience
- Fluent in both English and Japanese
