WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Woven City and Inventor Business aim to provide an environment that accelerates services important to users, cities, and society through the expansion of mobility, and are looking for a manager for the development, implementation, and operation of the payment service.
In order to evolve this payment service into a safer, more secure, and better service for Inventors, residents, visitors, and to improve living infrastructure, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to lead the project. At the same time, you will support and consult with Inventors to enhance their demonstrations in Woven City using Woven City's services and resources, including the payment service, and to turn it into an activity that creates new value in the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading the Woven City’s payment service project for developing, implementing, operating and expanding the service
- Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams such as business planning, engineering, and security, maintain relationships with external stakeholders, and cooperatively support a series of projects for the development, implementation, operation, and expansion of payment services
- Project management to understand and support inventors' needs and consider how we can contribute to the expansion of mobility using Woven City's services
- When faced with uncertain situations or challenges, communicate closely with relevant parties and proactively work to resolve issues
- Take ownership of team building and improving teamwork
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- University undergraduate degree or above
- 7+ years of experience in the payment business
- Experience in project management in the development of payment products, services, and systems, such as mobile payments and payment system development
- Basic understanding of technical specifications
- Communication skills and experience with customers and multiple stakeholders
- Experience in systems consulting or business consulting
- Attitude to move project forward agilely even when there are no clear answers
- Native-level Japanese language skills/business-level English skills
NICE TO HAVES
- Knowledge of the payment industry in general (including security, laws, etc.)
- Insights of payment systems and operations in a variety of merchant industries
- Insights of payment business and system configurations such as prepaid and wallet services
- Knowledge of the latest data architecture and purchasing data analysis
- More than 5 years of account management experience, including coordination with the technical side
- Experience catching up on knowledge in areas outside of one's specialty
